Mark Wahlberg shared some tips about how he lost weight in the recent Ellen DeGeneres episode.
Mark shared information about how he lost 10 pounds in 5 days. He said that he consumed bone broth to lose this weight. Animal bones boiled to create the bone broth. The store-bought ones usually have added preservatives in them.
People like having bone broth as it is rich in protein content. It also has minerals that help with digestion.
Wahlberg stated his reason for starting this diet. He mentioned, "I was kind of from the old school, bodybuilding philosophy that you had to eat all these ridiculous amounts of protein, I was eating every three hours, but the last movie that I did, I started having some issues because of eating so much. I was eating so much protein, I was storing it and using it other than building lean muscle, so I was getting a leaky gut, so I just literally did a bone broth fast."
Having a diet of only bone broth was not easy. Wahlberg shared his experience and said that it was a tough process. He said, "The first day, nobody wanted to be around me,'' he said. "I was miserable. Then I started having more energy. I'm so lucky and fortunate to have my job and do what I do that there isn't anything I wouldn't do to prepare."
Starting a new diet is not easy. It is also not advised to start a diet especially an intense one like bone broth without proper consultation. One should visit a doctor before starting a new food regime to get their advice.
