Master movie team heads to Tiruvannamalai temple ahead of film’s release

Vijay’s Master has excited everyone as it is the first big-budget film to release in theatres since March 2020. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film stars Vijay, Vijay Dethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das in important roles. As the film is days away from the release, composer Anirudh Ravichander, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, director-writer Rathnakumar, and a few others from the Master team paid a visit to Arunachaleshwarar temple in Tiruvannamalai. They were accompanied by Arjun Das, Vijay’s manager Jagadish and actor Lallu. The photo went viral on social media.

Sharing the photo from the Tiruvannamalai temple, Anirudh wrote, “Prayed at Arunachala, Thiruvannamalai for the success of #MasterFilm @Dir_Lokesh @iam_arjundas @Jagadishbliss @MrRathna @lalluTweets (sic)." Master was supposed to release in theatres on April 9, 2020. Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the film’s release was postponed indefinitely. Now, master is releasing in theatres with 50 percent occupancy across the country. While the Tamil and Telugu versions will release on January 13, the Hindi version will hit the screens on January 14.
