Meena completes 40 years in film industry

Meena started her career as a child artist and worked her way to become one of the top heroines in the 90s. She has acted with many superstars in all South Indian film industres. The actress was last seen in director Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 2 in which she was paired opposite Mohanlal. She is presently shooting for the Telugu version of the same film with Daggubati Venkatesh. Recently, Meena completes 40 years in the film industry. She still looks young and can easily pass off as an actress who is in her 30s. She took to social media to share an emotional note on completing 40 years in film industry.

She wrote, "In 1981, introduced by the Legend #Sivaji appa as a child artist and eventually moving on to play the Leading Lady and making a mark of my own in this industry for the past 40 years, has been nothing short of a blessing. I'm grateful for the people who believed in me and gave me opportunities to sculpt a flourishing beautiful career. Thanks for recognizing my talent and appreciating my hardwork Thank you , Thank you, Thank you (sic)." Meena is now waiting for the release of director Siruthai Siva's Annaatthe, in which she will share screens space with Rajinikanth.
