Lucifer is one of the super successful movies in Malayalam film industry. Star Malayalam hero Prithviraj Sukumaran made his debut as a director with the movie. Megastar Chiranjeevi purchased the remake rights of the movie. Chiranjeevi confirmed the same during the promotions of his dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in Kerala. The latest update on the film is that Sujeeth will helm the movie in Telugu.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is in talks with multiple directors, soon after the release of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Chiranjeevi badly wants to do the film as soon as possible. Immediately after the release of Acharya, Chiranjeevi wants to take the project to the sets. Chiranjeevi already discussed the script with Paruchuri brothers, Satyanand, V.V. Vinayak, Srinu Vaitla and other filmmakers. Finally, Chiranjeevi impressed with Sujeeth's suggestions and changes for the original script. NV Prasad is a popular producer who might produce the film.
