Hindi flick Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is one of the most anticipated films in 2019 as it has father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor sharing the screen space for the first time alongside Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
The film, directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar released today and is receiving unanimous appreciation from film buffs and critics alike. The Hindi film has explored the topic of lesbian love in the most dignified manner.
But, looking at Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga posters, we can't help but notice Rajkumar Hirani’s name being dropped from the film. The first poster had Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani’s James as producers.
However, from the second poster onwards, Rajkumar Hirani’s name has been left out in all promotional materials. Recently, the ace director has been named in the #MeToo movement for sexual misconduct with an assistant director.
Reports suggest that his name had been left out because he has been called out for his behaviour in the #MeToo campaign. The makers haven’t given an explanation for leaving Rajkumar Hirani’s name.
