Reports suggest that Prabhas’s upcoming mythological epic movie Adipurush will be a visual extravaganza as it will feature in upwards of 8000 VFX shots. A dedicated VFX team is already working on the output and the director Om Raut is monitoring the same.
Team Adipurush plans to use VFX extensively in order to enhance the digital imagery. A team of trained VFX artists and supervisors is working on the film. The makers have allotted a mammoth budget for the VFX and CGI works.
Adipurush will be one of the most graphic-heavy films in recent times. In fact, it will feature the highest number of VFX shots for any Indian film till date. No other Indian film is even remotely close to Adipurush when it comes to VFX and CGI.
To put that into perspective, the epic Baahubali 2 had a total of 2500 VFX shots. Adipurush will have more than thrice as many as that of Baahubali 2’s.
Adipurush shoot is set to be resumed in Mumbai next month. Saif Ali Khan, who plays demon king Lankesh will be shooting for his portion in the forthcoming schedule. Prabhas will join the sets in August.
