Irrfan Khan, who passed away this week at the age of 53, was a brilliant actor who played various versatile roles in films. One such film which saw him in the role of a cabbie starred Mithila Palkar along with him. On Saturday, Mithila sang a song for the late actor in order to pay tribute to him. She wrote, “Hey Shaukat, This #SingSongSaturday is dedicated to you. I’m struggling with the singing and strumming as usual but I tried to learn this just so I could bother you with my Binaca Geetmala, one last time. Khush rehna, jahaan bhi ho. Khuda haafiz Love. Tanya. #KarwaanForever.”

About working with her co-stars Irrfan Khan and Dulquer Salman, Mithila once opened up in an interview. She said, "About working with my two co-stars was fabulous. I was the youngest on the set and would observe everything like a wide-eyed child. It was like Disneyland! Shooting for the film was an enriching experience. They (Irrfan and Dulquer) made my job easy.” Karwaan is a 2018 film about a guy named Avinash who along with his friend Shaukat takes a trip to Kochi to clear out a misunderstanding. They were later joined by a teenager who accompanied them in their trip.

Irrfan Khan was suffering from a rare case of Cancer. Even though he eventually got better, Irrfan's condition deteriorated suddenly and he succumbed to colon infection on Wednesday. The whole Bollywood industry gave tribute to the actor as they said they've lost a great actor and a lot better human being.
