Mohan Babu’s open letter to the Inter students
With their protest against the Andhra Pradesh government over the delay in settlement of Fee Reimbursement dues for Sri Vidyaniketan, Manchu family has invited criticism and applause equally. On one hand, they were appreciated for the initiative taken up for the students and at the same time, they were slammed for overreacting on the issue.
Netizens began trolling Manchus over their silence on the suicides of Intermediate Students happening in Telangana. On this note, Manchu family members have been responding on the issue one after the another. Manoj not only retweeted Cm Chandrababu Naidu’s series of posts on inter students, but he also tweeted that life is not just about education. “Hope all the students and parents stop prioritising and stressing on educational ranks at least now,” he wrote.
Then, Vishnu took to his official Twitter account to express his concern over the lives of students. “Our current education system MUST change. There is too much stress on the students by the parents. IIT/Eamcet or other competitive exams are not the only purposes of life. We are killing creativity. Change is MUST in the parents thought process,” read his tweet.
And here comes the message of Collection King Mohan Babu who advised the youngsters to understand the pain their family members will have to go through because of their extreme steps. “God has given us this life to live it till the last breath. Ending life just because of scoring fewer marks or failure in examinations is unacceptable. Government has responded and punished those who are responsible for it. I appeal the students to refrain from taking hasty decisions. Instead of committing suicide, youngsters should make their Parents happy by reaching new heights,” he told.
