Mohanlal Sings Again For Spadikam; Ezhimalapoonchola Released By Makers.

Malayalees are waiting for the re-release of actor Mohanlal's one of the all-time superhit films, Spadikam. 27 years after the release of the film, only a few days are left to see how Mohanlal's Aadu Thoma, Thilakan's Chakomash, and other actors will make it to the big screen with the new technology. The song "Ezhimalapoonchola" is as impressive as the characters and dialogues in the film. Mohanlal has released a new version of the song that once charmed the Malayalees.

In the video, KS Chitra and Mohanlal sing together again for the reimagined song "Ezhimalapoonchola." The music is by SP Venkatesh, with lyrics penned by P Bhaskaran Master. Chitra and Mohanlal have also sung the old song.

The 4K version of Spadikam will hit theatres on February 9. Many of the actors and directors will be long gone by the time the film is re-released in theaters. The makers have also arranged a memorial evening for them before the release. The programme titled Ormail Sphatikam will be held on February 5 at 6 p.m. at the Kochi Durbar Hall Grounds.

On March 30, 1995, "Spadikam" came before the Malayalees. The film was a family action drama in which Mohanlal played the role of "Aduthoma." Thilakan and KPAC Lalitha played Mohanlal's father and mother, respectively. Tilakan's character "Chacko Mash" was highly appreciated. The dialogue in the film, including one about the vibration of the earth in mathematics, was also well received.
