Kaduva is a movie directed by Shaji Kailas and starring Prithviraj in the lead role. The second teaser of the movie was released last day. The movie will be released in theaters on June 30. According to the report, Mohanlal will be seen in a 10 - minute guest role. Kaduva will mark as Shaji Kailas' comeback film. Kaduva is the first Malayalam movie announced by Shaji Kailas after a gap of eight years. Jinu Abraham, director of Adam John and screenwriter for London Bridge, wrote the script for Kaduva.
The film stars Saikumar, Siddique, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Harishree Ashokan, Rahul Madhav, Kochupreman, Samyuktha Menon, Seema and Priyanka in other roles.
Kaduva will also be marked as a Malayalam movie starring Vivek Oberoi after Lucifer. Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames produce the film. The shooting of the film was completed after overcoming many difficulties. Makers encountered several obstacles during the filming, including the High Court stay. The High Court had stayed the shooting of the film on a petition filed by 'Kuruvinalkunnil Kuruvachan'. He stated that the film would cause him mental distress. The story of the film is based on the events of his life.
Shaji Kailas had earlier completed Alone with Mohanlal in the lead. Alone is expected to be a direct OTT release.
