Mohit Suri Malang movie gets a new release date: 7th February, 2020

“MALANG” the upcoming thriller Hindi film released its first look on November 16th, marking its actor Anil Kapoor’s birthday. Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani play the lead roles under the direction of Mohit Suri. The movie is scheduled to release on 7th Feb 2020. Most parts of the film were shot in Goa which is best suited the title Malang and partly in Mauritius. The meaning of the word MALANG in Hindi/Urdu is Faquir, which means a person indifferent to the world he is living in. He is carefree and not bothered by the results and doesn’t have a set lifestyle.
Malang is a word used for some Sufi saints, quite commonly, as well as a derogatory term sometimes, as a mad person or a nomad. The word is used in Urdu, Punjabi, and reportedly is also used in Afghani.
Aditya and Disha Patani are looking cool and well set to take on the youth for the film, in the first look. Shirtless Aditya Roy looks hot with Disha reminding us of the stunning duo Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dubaara’. Aditya must be hoping for his comeback with such a youth pleaser would help him forget the debacle of Kalank. Anil Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Amritha Khan shared the screen in the film.
Hoping that this new release date doesn’t bring down box office collections for the film. The reason for this change of dates remains unknown.
