The current Coronavirus pandemic is like nothing that the 21st-century society has ever faced. It has truly taken the whole world by surprise. While countries race to find a cure for the virus, many stars and celebrities have urged people to follow government guidelines and stay put at home. Famous actor Morgan Freeman has now joined this list. He shared a short clip of himself where he emphasizes the severity of the health crisis. Freeman thanked the courage and strength of the frontline workers fighting against the pandemic.
He began by saying, "The world is going through one of the most difficult times I've ever seen. We're scared for our lives, people are fearful about their finances and to make it worse, we're going through this in isolation. Staying away from our loved ones is incredibly hard."
The iconic actor also shared a quote from his friend Nelson Mandela. He said, "My friend Nelson Mandela once said, 'What counts in life is not the fact that we have lived, it is what difference we have made to the lives of others."
He concluded saying, "In this time of instability and fear, remember to cherish the good you see around you. Social distancing is not stopping us from coming together. Although it is becoming increasingly difficult, please continue to stay home. As we work to find our new normal, help each other stay strong and hopeful. It’s the most powerful way to make differences in the lives of others. As Mandela said, that’s what really counts in life."
Many fans confessed that Morgan Freeman's message amid the health crisis has made them emotional.
