The film is set to be a mystery thriller. Earlier, the makers had released the title poster of the film. The poster was set against the backdrop of a mysterious house. The poster had the image of 11 people inside the house and the image of Mohanlal walking there.
Drishyam 2 is Jeethu and Mohanlal's last film together. Earlier, producer Antony Perumbavoor announced the 12th Man in connection with Mohanlal's birthday.
