Alia proved it by being active in the promotions of the movie Darlings. Alia and Ranbir are currently busy promoting the release of their film Brahmastra. The film will hit theaters on September 9. Meanwhile, Alia's words when she was asked about marriage are now getting attention again on social media. Alia said that while most girls dream of their wedding day, she dreams of being on stage and giving a speech at the Oscars. Alia said this in an interview given to Pinkvilla in 2016.
"If most girls dream of marriage, for me it's an Oscar. All I can think about is the day I get the Oscar and stand in front of people.' Alia said. Later in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Alia was asked to explain her statement, the actor said, 'The question was, do you dream about the day you get married? I said I dream of the day I get an Oscar. What will I wear that day, how will I walk to the stage, how will I preach without falling on the stage, who will I thank? All these things will be thought of.'
Simply put I don't dream of the day I get married. Not because I have a problem with marriage, it's a big dream of mine.' And Alia clarified.
