Mumbai Police, A Malayalam Thriller Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran To Remake In Hindi Starring Shahid kapoor

Shahid Kapoor, a Bollywood actor, has jumped on the remake bandwagon. The actor's Hindi version of Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, was a huge smash, while Jersey, his subsequent remake, struggled at the movie office. While he is already committed to Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming movie, Nuit Blanche, which is also a replica of the French movie, he is also in early discussions to play the lead in the Hindi version of the Malayalam thriller Mumbai Police. Prithviraj Sukumaran was the original movie's star.

The actor is now in negotiations for the film, which is being made by Siddharth Roy Kapur's production company Roy Kapur Films, according to a report in a media outlet. The remake will also be directed by Rosshan Andrrews, who was in charge of the original movie. He is now collaborating with Hindi scriptwriters on the project. The cast of Mumbai Police in Malayalam included Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayasurya, and Rahman. The casting for the characters of the last two actors is still ongoing. To feature alongside Shahid Kapoor, the producers are now in negotiations with a woman from the South Indian film business.
