Actor Hrithik Roshan has gone a step ahead of many others to provide direct relief to frontline workers amid Coronavirus. On Friday Mumbai Police took to Twitter to thank Hrithik Roshan for his donation of hand sanitizers for active-duty personnel. The official Mumbai Police Twitter handle shared a picture of a man wearing a mask as he hands a large box to a lady police officer.
Mumbai Police tweeted out a thank you message for Hrithik. It reads, "Thank you @iHrithik for this thoughtful gesture of delivering hand sanitizers for Mumbai Police personnel on duty. We are grateful for your contribution to safeguarding the health and safety of our frontline warriors. #MumbaiPoliceFoundation."
The Guzaarish actor soon retweeted the post and responded with a simple and humble comment. He wrote, "My gratitude to our police forces, who have taken our safety in their hands. Stay safe. My love & respect to all in the line of duty."
Hrithik Roshan is currently spending his time in his Mumbai home with his father and his two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Hrithik is also joined by his ex-wife Sussanne Khan at his home as the couple wanted to spend their time with their kids in such a difficult time.
Hrithik Roshan previously provided PPE kits to workers of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. He tweeted writing, "In times such as these, we must do whatever we can to ensure the safety of the most fundamental caretakers of our city and society. I have procured N95 and FFP3 masks for our BMC workers and other caretakers.”
