Mundina Nildana is the only Kannada film to get screened at Bengaluru International Film Festival

Director Vinay Bharadwaj made a scintillating debut with the film Mundina Nildana. This film is the only Kannada movie and one of the three Indian movies to get selected for the Asian Cinema category of the popular Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFES). Vinay said that it feels special as his film is the only Kannada movie to get screened at the festival.

Vinay revealed that a writer called him up and told him about the selections at the festival. He submitted the film like any other filmmaker and hoped for the selection. He opined that the relatability factor has worked in favor of their film. Mundina Nildana is a musical drama with a sensible storyline. It features seven songs. Vinay says that it reflects today's generation and stated that millennials need to see and understand it.

It deals with the story of an IT employee who wants to become a photographer, an art curator who searches for a soulmate and a 21-year-old medical student who looks for a sexual relationship. How these three individuals came across each other forms the rest of the story. Mundina Nildana features Praveen Tej, Radhika Chetan and Ananya Kashyap in the other lead roles. Bengaluru International Film Festival started on 26th February and concludes tomorrow.
