Recently various reports suggested that playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan is going through a tough time with her husband and music producer Hitesh Sonik. The rumours also hinted at a possible divorce. However, in a recent interview with Bombay Times, Hitesh Sonik has absolutely debunked all of these rumours. Sonik has called the rumours baseless and assured people that his relationship and married life is doing well.
He said, "It’s not true. We (Sunidhi and Hitesh) are living under the same roof. I am too busy cleaning the house to even read the news. We have divided the household chores in this lockdown period. Well, maybe she isn’t happy with my cleaning, which is why such a story has surfaced (sic)."
Hitesh also said that Sunidhi has refused to comment only because she finds the rumours outrageous. "Maybe she doesn’t want to comment on it because she finds the news too outrageous to even think about it," he added.
Hitesh also spoke of his love and regard for Sunidhi Chauhan. He said, “Sunidhi is a wonderful singer is only a part of her personality. I love her first and foremost for the person she is. She has blended so well into my family. My folks dote on her. And I am very comfortable with her family too”.
Hitesh and Sunidhi tied the knot in 2012. Before getting married to Hitesh Sunidhi married director-choreographer Bobby Khan. Her previous marriage lasted only a year. Sunidhi and Hitesh also welcomed a baby boy in 2018.
