Star actress Trisha is an active user of social media. She is regular visitor of her social media profile and also stays in touch with her fans. Now, the actress has decided to take a break from social media for a while. She said that her mind needs oblivion at the moment and went for a digital detox.

 
Her last tweet was to inform about her digital detox. She tweeted, "On a happy but “my mind needs oblivion at the moment” note, a digital detox it is. Stay home! Stay safe! This too shall pass. Love you all and see you soon." Her fans flooded with comments and requested her to come back soon.
 
Trisha was recently seen in the short film Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, this film featured Simbu in the other lead role. It was a mini-sequel to the 2010 super hit film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. The short film received a raving response from the fans. They requested Gautham Menon to make a full-length feature as a sequel of it. Gautham also revealed that he will make the part two of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa soon. Trisha is currently acting in Malayalam film Ram and Tamil epic-drama Ponniyin Selvan. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Ram features Mohanlal as the lead hero. Ponniyin Selvan is being directed by Mani Ratnam. It features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Sobhita Dhulipala in the other lead roles. Both films will hit the screens in 2021.
