Sunitha Krishnan is an activist based in Hyderabad who also produced the film Na Bangaru Thalli. She joined Gandhi hospital and she got admitted in the isolated ward. Taking to Twitter, she posted this morning about the situation.
She wrote, "Just returned back this morning from an official cum personal visit to Bangkok with a mild cough. Rushed to Gandhi Hospital to report. The display for the coronavirus desk is prominent everywhere. But the urgency to ensure immediate response looks less than the desired level @TelanganaCMO. So going to enjoy hospitality at Gandhi Hospital for two days as admitted in the isolation ward suspected coronavirus. They have not started the tests yet( 1.30 hrs since I arrived). I believe the results may take 48hrs. At this pace, I have a feeling I am might be here some time. Can I make it very very clear that I am admitted in the isolation ward of Gandhi Hospital for suspected coronavirus infection as I have just come back from Bangkok with a mild cough. The tests have been done & we are awaiting the results. Any other news is fake!!!"
With this clarification, she made one thing very clear that her reports are yet to come and she is currently under the supervision of the doctors, in Hyderabad. The government is working on making things better and we have to wait for the full details.
Sunitha Krishnan got a lot of messages on her Twitter, asking her to take care and a lot many informing her that things would be better. Hope she comes out of flying colors.
