Senior actress Nadhiya is in the showreel business for more than three and a half decades. She ruled the South Indian film industry as a heroine during the 80s and 90s. From the late 2000s, she has become a prominent supporting actress in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Recently, Nadhiya shared a throwback picture of herself posing with Superstar Rajinikanth on the sets of the 1989 film Rajadhi Raja. She also thanked Rajini for showing how to stay humble. This vintage picture is doing rounds on social media now.
In the picture, we can see Nadhiya striking a classy pose while Rajinikanth is giving a look at her. Nadhiya captioned the picture as, "Throwback to Rajadhi Raja with the one and only THALAIVA, directed by R Sundar Rajan. @rajinikanth, Thank you for showing us how to stay humble. #TBT #ThrowBackThursday #RajadhiRaja #Rajinikanth."
On the career front, Nadhiya was last seen in the 2018 Malayalam film Neerali. She is currently acting in two Telugu projects, Keerthy Suresh's Miss India and Varun Tej's untitled boxing drama. Directed by Narendranath, Miss India is in the final stages of its shoot. It will hit the screens once theaters open across the country. On the flip side, Nadhiya is playing the role of Varun Tej's mother in the latter. This boxing drama is being directed by Kiran Korrapati. The film will release worldwide in 2021.
