Telugu filmmaker Sukumar, who is highly known for making films with complex & troubled characters has one film in his filmography, which doesn't fall under his "type" of films. Starring Naga Chaithanya & Tamannah, '100% Love' is the movie. This one film actually doesn't have any character with negative shade or dark humour. Although Chaithanya had a hit with Ye Maya Chesave, Choathanya had garnered a boy next door image in the audience. Sukumar planned a comedy-drama film and approached Chaithanya for it. But then there was a bit ambiguity about the result of the film as Ye Maya Chesave has created a good impact and the acceptance of Chaithaynya's character, which is actually more self-centred, a non-heroic quality might be turned down. The film released today, 9 years ago.
Needless to say, the film went onto become a blockbuster with a chartbuster audio album. Devi Sri Prasad's tunes rocked the youth in those times. 'Diyalo Diyala', mass- record song scored by Sukumar's frequent collaborator Devi Sri Prasad is a big hit. Along with this, 'Infatuation' is also recorded as one of the most heard songs in the album. Looking down his career, this film is the only film that actually brought the family audience to him and was thoroughly enjoyed. Especially the exams and kids episode in the first half of the film. And it deals with the family emotions and mature relationship that we have to deal with, as we grow up.
This film marks it's 9 Year anniversary and all the cast & crew of this film have become busiest and huge stars in the industry today.
