Tollywood actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya claims he was offered a role in a Hindi film but turned it down owing to his concern about his Hindi.
The 35-year-old actor, who recently appeared in Vikram K Kumar's 'Thank You with Raashii Khanna, Malavika Nair, and Avika Gor, recently spoke with a major TV outlet and said that his grasp of Hindi was inadequate and that even when he told, his home tongue slang was mixed in. He also stated that he was born in Chennai before moving to Hyderabad. As a result, he lacks mastery of the Hindi language. That is why he stated that he had stayed away from Hindi films thus far. Chaitanya went on to say that he portrays a South Indian lad who enters the army and speaks Hindi with a Telugu accent to others.
With 'Josh,' Akkineni Naga Chaitanya made his lead acting debut and won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Chay has received many honors, including Nandi Awards, Filmfare South Awards, South Indian International Movie Awards, CineMAA Awards, and others.
On the job front, Naga Chaitanya will next be seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha,' a Bollywood debut co-starring Aamir Khan. The movie will release on August 11th. He has also agreed to work with director Venkat Prabhu on several projects.
