Nani and Vishwaksen's HIT disappoints in its World Television Premiere; opens to poor TVR ratings on small screen

Vishwaksen starrer HIT had hit the screens earlier this year. This investigative thriller had a decent run at the theaters. But, it rather had a disappointing outing on its World Television Premiere. HIT got premiered on Gemini TV last week. Everyone expected it to get high TRP ratings but it just got settled with a score of 5.07.

On the flip side, other old films like Rakshasudu and Race Gurram got more TRP ratings than HIT. While Rakshasudu managed to get 6.38, Race Gurram got a decent rating of 5.56. HIT got a cumulative rating of 5.07, including Urban and Rural areas. It got more impressions from urban areas as it got a rating of 7.23 in that arena. On the whole, HIT secured the fourth position in the last week's TRP ratings. The first three positions got claimed by Rakshasudu, Race Gurram, and Chalo (5.09). The film getting telecasted on a weekday evening also didn't work out well for the movie. We have to see if it manages to grab more attention in the upcoming telecasts.

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT featured Ruhani Sharma as the female lead. It deals with the story of a police officer who deals with the case of a missing young girl. The film is fully filled with twists and turns. But the jarring climax made many audiences get disappointed. Thus, it remained as an average grosser at the box office. The film got produced by Nani. Vivek Sagar has composed the music for it.
