The coronavirus pandemic has changed the dynamics of the film industry in the world. All the shoots got halted and the films got postponed. Most of the countries are yet to reopen their theaters. India is one of them. It is being heard that theaters in India may not reopen for the next two to three months. Many of the Indian films are opting for a direct Telugu release. Yesterday, Nani shared a picture of himself that got clicked on the first day of V's shoot. He captioned it, "Pic from the first-day shoot of #V. Waiting for the day we will all watch it together. Until then... stay safe."

Directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, V features Sudheer Babu , Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari in the other lead roles. Nani played the role of an antagonist in it. Sudheer Babu will be the protagonist, who played the role of a sincere cop. The teaser of the film got a terrific response from the audience. It was originally slated for the release on March 25th. But it got postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown. Dil Raju is bankrolling the project. The new release date will get announce once the situation comes back to normalcy. Meanwhile, Nani is also acting in the films Tuck Jagdish and Shyam Singha Roy.
