Natural Star Nani is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming flick Jersey in which he is playing the role of a cricketer. At present, the theatrical rights of Jersey are being sold and it is quite shocking to see the numbers.
Sources say that Jersey is being sold off to distributors for minimum rates, despite the film having a decent buzz. Now, it's been said that this is a way to compensate the losses to the distributors who incurred losses due to Agnyaathavaasi, Aravinda Sametha and Shailaja Reddy Alludu.
Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi tanked big time at the box office. Jr NTR's Aravinda Sametha did well at the box office, but it incurred losses in a few places as it was sold at exorbitant rates to the distributors. Naga Chaitanya's Shailaja Reddy Alludu too suffered a similar fate.
Due to the poor box office collections of these three films, Jersey is being sold for reasonable rates so that it could give distributors a chance to recover their money. It is nice on the producers to keep the losses in mind to help the distributors.
