As Nani is going all out to promote his Friday release Gang Leader, speculations about the film's story refuse to die down. Grapevine is that the story of the film directed by Vikram K Kumar is copied from 2008 South Korean film Girl Scouts. Directed by Kim Sang-man, Girl Scouts revolves around four women, who come together to track down a credit union CEO to recover stolen money. If you watch the teaser of Nani's Gang Leader, one would notice that the content in the video is similar to that of the Korean film. The story of Gang Leader too revolves around a women gang, who approach a revenge writer to find out the man behind the killings of their men. In a way, both the stories seem identical and Vikram has succeed in localising the Korean film's content. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Nani's Gang Leader releases on September 13.
