The coronavirus pandemic has hit the film industry very hard. Many films have stalled their releases for months now. All the theaters got shut down as well. Nani's V is one of the films that got affected by the pandemic and the lockdown. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, the makers are planning to release the film during Christmas this year.
V was actually slated for the release on the 25th of March. The country went under lockdown from March 24. Thus, V had to remain under cans since then. According to the sources, the theaters may reopen in October. Thus, the producers of V are planning to release the film during Christmas weekend. As it is a festive period, there are high chances of people visiting the theaters. Hence, the makers are thinking that it will be the right time to release the film.
V is being directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. Sudheer Babu is the other lead hero in it. Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari played the female leads in the movie. For the first time, Nani is playing the role of an antagonist in this film. The teaser of this film got a terrific response from the audience.
