It is already known that star hero Daggubati Venkatesh is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Narappa. This is an official remake of last year's super hit Tamil film Asuran. The makers wanted to finish the film in a single schedule. They have been shooting continuously for the last two months. It has also become the longest shoot schedule in the history of the production house, Suresh Productions. Unfortunately, the makers have called off the shoot due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Suresh Productions team has officially announced the shoot call-off by tweeting, "The longest shoot schedule in the history of Suresh Productions, "Narappa" has now been paused in view of the threat of COVID-19. The team is heading back to Hyderabad today. The shoot shall resume once the condition outside stabilizes. We also hope that you all avoid social gatherings as much as possible. Stay safe and healthy. #SPProductionUpdate."
The shooting of Narappa was happening in the Anathapur region. As the shoot got called off, the makers have returned back to Hyderabad last night. Even hero Venkatesh got spotted at Hyderabad Airport yesterday evening.
Narappa is being directed by Srikanth Addala. It is his second film with Venkatesh, after Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Priyamani is playing the female lead in this movie. Mani Sharma is composing the music of the film. D. Suresh Babu and Kalaipulli S Thanu are jointly bankrolling the flick. The makers are aiming to release the film this year. Further updates on the shoot will get announced soon.
