But, it got confirmed the other day as NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine said that they are teaming up with Tom for this film.
Jim's tweet read, "NASA is excited to work with @TomCruise on a film aboard the @Space_Station! We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA’s ambitious plans a reality." With this film, Tom Cruise becomes the first one to make a film in outer space. We hear that this film will have all the core action elements, indulged in the genre of the science-fiction. Tom will be working with both NASA and Elon Musk's Space X, to make this film a never-seen-before spectacle. If it gets made successfully, it will not only be a landmark in the field of cinema but in the history of the whole of mankind. Thus, the makers and scientists are taking it as a prestigious project.
On the film front, Tom was last seen in the 2018 action-adventure drama Mission Impossible: Fall Out. His next release will be Top Gun: Maverick. It is currently scheduled for the release on December 23rd this year.
