Suriya and Sudha Kongara collaborated to create the blockbuster movie "Soorarai Pottru". It was so well-made that it won five honors at the 2020 National Film Awards. The National Awards ceremony took place today in Delhi. The winners each received an award from the honorable president Droupadi Murmu. In order to depict Tamil culture on the big stage, Suriya, Jyotika, GV Prakash Kumar, Aparan Balamurali, and director Sudha Kongara all dressed traditionally.
The best actor, best actress, best background score, best screenplay, and best feature film awards have all been given to Soorarai Pottru. Suriya and Jyotika shared the Best Feature Film prize since they co-produced the movie. Suriya once more demonstrates his affection for Jyotika by giving her an equal amount of space to her. Soorarai Pottru, a movie directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Suriya in a role he previously played, is based on the biography of GR Gopinath. He is the man who founded Air Deccan. The female protagonist was played by Aparna Balamurali. GV Prakash Kumar composed the soundtrack for the movie. The critically acclaimed movie bypassed its theatrical run in favor of a direct OTT premiere. It has shown that a good movie can flourish in any medium. In the meantime, "Sivaranjiniyum Sila Pengalum" director Vasanth and editor Sreekar Prasad have also won National Awards for their contributions to the movie. "Mandela" director Madonne Ashwin has won the award for his first film.
