Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s No Land's Man Selected For Sydney Film Festival

Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer No Land's Man is gaining worldwide appreciation. The film which premiered at Busan International Film Festival last year is now going to Sydney Film Festival. Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared the news through his official Instagram account.

 
Sharing the good news Nawazuddin Siddiqui wrote; "The film close to my heart is traveling the world, this time "No Land's Man" is officially selected at the @sydfilmfest”.
 
Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, a Bangladeshi director and writer, directed the film. The film incorporates music by Oscar winner A R Rahman. The film was shot in India, the United States, and Australia. No Land’s Man follows the story of a South Asian man who meets an Australian woman in America. The plot also includes themes such as fascism and identity crises.
 
Last year's Busan International Film Festival featured the film in the 'A Window on Asian Cinema' section. Nawazuddin Siddiqui received a nomination for the Kim Jiseok Award as well. He is the only Indian actor nominated in the ‘best performance by an actor’ category for Emmy last year. Others are Christian Tappan (The Great Heist), David Tennant (Des), and Roy Nik (Normali).
 
Meanwhile, Nawaz will also be walking the red carpet at Cannes for the ninth time. Nawaz has a diverse filmography coming up that includes 'Tiku Weds Sheru,' 'Noorani Chehra,' and 'Adbhut,' among others.
