Nayanthara is all set to team up with Durai Senthilkumar for a film. The movie will be produced by her husband, Vignesh Shivan. While there is not much detail available about the movie. The first-look poster features Nayanthara’s hand resting on the trunk of an elephant. It indicates that the film could be based on the lead character’s interaction with the tusker.
In a press note, Vignesh Shivan said, “We are happy to be associated with a versatile filmmaker like Durai Senthilkumar, who has delivered movies that have unique stories, brilliant storytelling and have been well received by critics and proven commercial successes as well. The way he projects women characters with powerful shades in his movies is extraordinary. Personally, I have been a great fan of athlete Shanthi in his Ethir Neechal. When he narrated the script for Nayanthara 81, it was literally amazing and had elements that will savor the tastes of audience from all walks of life.”
Nayanthara and Durai Senthilkumar are working together on a project for the second time. In the Sivakarthikeyan-starring movie Ethir Neechal, Nayanthara and Dhanush both made cameo appearances in a song. Nayanthara was most recently seen on the big screen in Mohan Raja's Telugu film Godfather. It stars Chiranjeevi. Nayanthara has her hands full with projects while Durai Senthilkumar is also directing Adhigaaram, which stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead. She will be making her Bollywood debut with Atlee's Jawan, which features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. In addition, she has films in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu.
