After the success of Darbar, Lady Superstar Nayanthara is currently prepping up for the release of her next film Mookuthi Amman. Touted to be a devotional drama, this film is being directed by RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan. RJ Balaji is also playing a key role in the film. The makers of the film have revealed the pre-look of the film earlier today and announced that the first look will be out tomorrow at 7 PM.
The pre-look poster looks intriguing as we can only see the hand of the goddess Durga. A bunch of fighters is visible in the background hinting that the scene is a face-off between the goons and the goddess. Nayanthara is playing the role of the goddess in this movie. This is not the first time Nayanthara played a devotional character as she played the role of Sita before in the film Sri Rama Rajyam. Nayan has turned a vegetarian throughout the shooting of this film and also toured various temples across Tamil Nadu.
This film marks the directorial debut of RJ Balaji. It is being presented by Ishari K Ganesh and produced by Vels Films International. The makers are planning to release Mookuthi Amman during this summer.
