Netflix users claim South Korean series 'My Secret Terrius' predicted'the Coronavirus Outbreak in 2018.

This may come across as an intriguing murder-mystery. But in the tenth episode of the first season, Netflix users have identified that at 53 mins in, the plot comes to a discussion over the coronavirus.

The Korean series My Secret Terrius has left many Netflix viewers shocked. The show, which aired in 2018, appeared to audiences recently and surprised many. This was due to the fact that it predicted two years back that a coronavirus outbreak would take place.

The first season of the series ended with a doctor developing what seems a lot like the Coronavirus. She was looking for a cure but discovers a virus which is like MERS. The doctor says that someone tweaked to increase its mortality rate to 90 percent. And adds that the virus has an incubation period of two to 14 days.

“The virus is manipulated to attack the lungs within five minutes of being exposed,” the doctor adds. It is also revealed that a cure is not possible, prompting children to wash their hands to destroy the virus.

After this footage found its way online, social media began trending My Secret, Terrius, and users across the globe began searching for the episode on Netflix. Some (like those in India) felt disappointed, while others added to their conspiracy theories.
