Netflix's Delhi Crime is getting a sequel with a National Award Winning director at its helm

Netflix has had many downfalls with its original Indian films and series. However, amid all of it, Netflix has also delivered some of the best Indian shows in recent times. One of these shows is Netflix's Delhi Crime. Delhi Crime released on Netflix in 2019 and quickly caught the attention of many fans. Critics and fans alike appreciated the show's emphatic narrative that follows the real-life incident of the Nirbhaya gang-rape case.
 
Delhi Crime now sits among the likes of shows like Sacred Games. Thus it is clear that Delhi crime is one of the best Indian shows to arrive on the digital platform. The creators behind the first season of Delhi Crime have now confirmed that it is getting a sequel soon. The creators have revealed that the second season will soon be available to fans for streaming on Netflix. Furthermore, the show is confirmed to have finished most of its shooting already. The creators have added that only a small portion of the upcoming season still is left to shoot after the lockdown ends.
 
Fans of the show will also be excited to know that Delhi Crime season 2 is helmed by National Award Winning director Rajesh Mapuskar. Mapuskar won a National Award for Best Director for his work in the Marathi feature film, Ventilator. Mapuskar has also written and directed Ferrari Ki Sawari.
 
Delhi Crime 2 will also star most of its original cast including Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, and Rajesh Tailing. There is still no information about the plot of the second season for Delhi Crime.
