Nithya Menen took to Instagram to talk about how she hopes to auction her Lakmé Fashion Week Dress and also spoke of why she chose to donate the dress as well.

Nithya Menen to auction her Lakmé Fashion Week Dress to raise funds to COVID-19 relief

Nithya Menen began her video stating that she wants to Lakme Fashion Week Dress. She says she’d like to donate the funds raised from the auction to help people in villages to self-sustain. She says the trust Anrpanam Trust will help make this happen. Nitya says that the dress was custom made for her by her friend and designer Kaveri. Kaveri works with natural materials and promotes body positivity. Thus, she has she thought the dress would be perfect to guide for the cause. Nitya says anyone can open a bid on @indiawasted. Nitya has given the details in her caption. Nitya also added that the winner will also receive a handwritten note from her. Nitya concludes by saying she is excited for the action and can not wait to see who gets the dress! Nitya also spoke of the company that will help initiate the auction along with Arpanam Trust. She says that the company is looking to provide a platform for sustainable clothes in the future.

 
She shared the video with the caption, “Auction for my Lakme Fashion Week dress! I'm giving this dress I walked the ramp in as the showstopper for @bykaveri , up for auction ! Go bid for it at @indiawasted .. Highest bid will get this dress i wore.. and I also wrote a personal note and added it to the package! Bidding starts at 4 pm on Sunday,17th May. DM your bidding amounts to @indiawasted.”
 
Nitya Menen was last seen in the film Psycho. Psycho was director Mysskin’s psychological thriller that also starred actors Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ram, and Rajkumar Pitchumani in leading roles.
