Nivin Pauly Is Back In Kollywood, Shoots New Film With Director Ram

Though Nivin Pauly had acted in several Malayalam films, it was Pramam that that made him an overnight sensation. He was welcomed by people across the country and entertained the audience with his back-to-back hit films. He was last seen in director Gautham Ramachandran's Richie, which is the Tamil remake of the Kannada hit film, Ulidavaru Kandante starring Rakshit Shetty. However, the film received a lukewarm response from the critics and audience alike. After the middling business of Richie, Nivin Pauly concentrated on his films in Malayalam. Now, Nivin Pauly is back in Kollywood after a gap of three years.

He has signed his upcoming film with director Ram. Apart from Nivin Pauly, actress Anjali has also been roped in to play a lead role in the film. Actor Soori will play a comedian in the film. The shooting of this bilingual film kickstarted today (October 5) in Rameswaram. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions, Nivin Pauly will be seen sporting long hair in the film. This untitled film is Nivin Pauly's third film after Neram and Richie. More details regarding this bilingual will be announced by the makers in the coming months.
