Nivin Pauly is one of the star heroes in the Malayalam film industry. The actor made his debut in Hindi cinema last year, with the film Moothon. Geetu Mohandas is the director of the film that revealed a new angle in Nivin Pauly. The interesting project has got a lot of attention at multiple film festivals across the nation. After successfully winning the hearts of audiences at Mumbai International Film Festival, the film has scored big now at NewYork Indian film festival. Nivin won the Best Actor award, at the festival.

 
Sharing the news on Twitter, the actor thanked the jury of the film festival on his Twitter profile. Currently, at the New York Indian Film Festival, the film bagged three awards. The first one is that Nivin Pauly won the best actor award, and the second award is for Sanjana Dipu. She grabbed the Best Child Actor award. The film also won the Best Film award.
 
New York Indian film festival began from July 24 and concluded on August 2, 2020. The film unit is extremely happy now for this achievement. Moothon released in the theatres last year and won critical acclaims. The film is also available to stream on digital platforms.
