It has been about a month since the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and other suspects. The arrest was following a raid on a cruise ship when they obtained tiny amounts of drugs.
Aryan has been denied bail on many occasions due to purported evidence discovered in his Whatsapp chats. Though, Aryan Khan was not caught in possession of drugs remains a fact.
Khan's bail application was heard today in the Bombay High Court. Former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi represented him on the case. Aryan Khan's lawyer Satish appeared in front of the Magistrate court on his behalf.
After narrating the events of October 2, Rohatgi said that there is no occasion to arrest Aryan. "There was no occasion to arrest my client, short and simple;” said Rohatgi. Rohatgi also highlighted there was no recovery, no consumption, or no medical test done as far as Aryan Khan. The judge concluded the hearing for the day and said it will be continued tomorrow at 2.30 pm.
NCB arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan on the night of October 2. Both were lodged in Arthur Road jail after bail applications before denied.
Aryan Khan’s legal team moved to the High Court after the rejection of bail plea from the session’s court. The NDPS court rejected Aryan Khan’s bail plea on Wednesday, October 20.
