Actress Bina Antony says that she went through a serious situation after catching Covid. Bina Antony said she did not go to the hospital at first. She thought the disease would go away if she rested at home, but later the disease worsened.
“I took a pill and stayed at home thinking that everything would be fine if I rested at home. Because my sister was resting at home when she got Covid. Suddenly one day I felt suffocated. I was unable to breathe if I take one step forward. Immediately went to the hospital. The ICU, ventilators, and rooms were full. We finally got a room;” says Beena Antony in an interview with Grihalakshmi.
Beena Antony said that one day she suddenly suffocated in the hospital. She added that no one was around and that was the moment she saw death in front of her.
“Saw death ahead. Somehow I walked out of the room and called the nurse. They ran and gave me oxygen. I was in the same bed for three days. Doctors told my husband to look for a ventilator at another hospital.
Because the condition was that it could be critical at any time. The bill was more than Rs 2 lakh for nine days in the hospital. Suddenly I did not have the money to take such a large sum. AMMA organization paid Rs 2 lakh to pay the bill;” added Beena Antony.
