Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for the film Acharya in the direction of Koratala Siva. There is a crucial role in this movie for which the makers initially thought of roping in Ram Charan. But it got reported that Ram Charan is unable to do the role as he is quite busy with the shooting of RRR. Later, it got rumored that Superstar Mahesh Babu will act in this extended cameo. But, the official sources have now confirmed that Charan himself is essaying that role and not anyone else. An official announcement regarding this news will be out soon.
According to the official sources, Ram Charan will take part in the shoot very soon. Thus, the mega fans are now getting another chance to witness both Chiru and Charan on the same screen. The shoot of Acharya is currently reached its mid-way. We hear that the movie is a commercial entertainer with a strong social message.
Trisha is playing the female lead in it. This is her second film with Chiru, after the 2006 movie Stalin. Mani Sharma is composing the music of this film. Acharya is being bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under their respective banners Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments. The makers are planning to release this film in August this year.
