Another movie with a female lead, "Akelli," is in the works for Nushrratt Bharuccha, who is currently filming for her upcoming movie, "Chhorii 2." She claims that she has never gone out hunting for films with female leads.
Nushrratt claimed in an interview with a news outlet that she never actively sought out female-led movies; instead, they always found her. The actress said, "I look at a film as a film, and if it's intriguing, I'll be in it whether it has a male or female lead." She claims that she has never deliberately chosen to work only on films with female leads.
"Janhit Mein Jaari," "Chhorii 2," and "Akelli" all have happened originally. When choosing a movie, Nushrratt informed the news portal that the story of the movie is what she is most passionate about.
Nushrratt also talked about whether or not socially conscious movies are becoming overrated. She claims that it depends on what the spectators like or dislike. If it does get overvalued, viewers will lose interest in such movies. The actress continued by saying that making a movie with a social message isn't something everyone chooses to do. She emphasised that although "Dream Girl" was an overt comedy, it did have a message at the end. But everyone enjoyed seeing it. It was advertised as a comedy rather than a movie with a social message. Nushrratt said that if it starts to get too popular, the audience will let them know.
