Oh My Kadavule becomes a big hit in Tamil; Director Ashwath confirms a remake in Bollywood

Tamil film 'Oh My Kadavule' starring Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh in the lead along with Vani Bhojan has become a surprise hit. Although the teasers and trailers were interesting, the film result was not what they expected it to be. The film received universal critical acclaim and became a big hit. Now, the latest news states that this film will get a Hindi remake, apart from the Telugu remake.

Directed by the debutant Ashwath Marimuthu, the film is already getting its Telugu remake. PVP Cinema made the announcement but the cast and crew of the film are not yet finalized. Director Ashwath Marimuthu has confirmed in his recent live chat about the Hindi remake. The director confirmed talks of 'Oh My Kadavule' are on with Hindi filmmakers. Ashwath will direct the Telugu version and he is busy with the script work.

Ashwath Marimuthu is also ready with another film in Tamil, and he has completed the script works for it. “ I’m currently working on the Telugu version of Oh My Kadavule. There are also talks going on about the Hindi version, and I’m writing another script for a Tamil film,” Ashwath said, to a question on what he has been up to during the lockdown. While the details are not revealed yet, the producers are rather interested to co-produce the film in Hindi, than selling the rights.

'Oh My Kadavule' in Tamil was produced by G Dhillibabu's Axess Film Factory in association with Abinaya Selvam Happy High, and the film was released by Sakthi Film Factory.
