Celebrities are doing their best to help tackle the coronavirus crisis. While some are donating funds, some others are trying to raise awareness about the virus. Anchor and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj
came forward to assist a program that aimed to raise awareness among pregnant women. It happens to be Anasuya’s birthday today. Looks like the anchor decided to do some good on the occasion by helping fight misconception of the coronavirus. The Rachakonda Police official twitter page shared the press release for the initiative and shared a few photos for the campaign. The release stated that Anasuya has sponsored health kit articles to the women under the initiative. The photos showed the policemen and Anasuya handing over the kits to the women.
Rachakonda Police’s official twitter page tweeted, “Anchor Anusuya has sponsored a Healthy kits article for 100 pregnant ladies at Keesara on the occasion of her birthday. #CP_Rachakonda, @DcpMalkajgiri, @AcpKushaiguda , SHO @Keesaraps have distributed.”
Anasuya replied to the tweet to thank the Rachakonda Police for the opportunity to help out. She wrote, “Thank you for allowing me Sir, and for being there!! My best birthday ever!! Indebted to all the Police and Medical personnel who are taking care of all of us during these pandemic times!!”
On the work front, Anasuya Bharadwaj is known for her anchoring. She has however appeared in several films over the years. She was last seen in the film Meeku Maathram Cheptha in 2019. She will appear in several films such as Pushpa, Vakeel Saab, Acharya, and Ranga Marthanda. Anasuya Bharadwaj will also continue hosting several shows such as Prati Roju Pandage and Thalla? Pellama?? She also serves as the judge on the show Local Gangs.
