On the occasion of Tamilnadu former CM Jayalalithaa's birthday, makers of Thalaivi releases a new picture featuring Kangana Ranaut

'Thalaivi' is an upcoming much-awaited movie which is the biopic on legendary actress and late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The project is in the discussions for a long time and got materialized with Kangana Ranaut playing the lead. Although there are a couple of other films on Jayalalithaa's life, the one, with Kangana seems to be the official one as it has got the backing from the former CM's family. On the occasion of Jayalalitha's birthday today, the film unit revealed a new poster from the movie.

Being directed A L Vijay, Bollywood firebrand Kangana Ranaut is portraying the role of Jayalalitha in the film. The expectations have been high on this film. The makers have roped in versatile actors like Aravinda Swamy for MG Ramachandran's role and Prakash Raj in Karunanidhi's roles. Today, on The occasion of Puratchithalaivi Jayalalithaa's Birthday, the makers have unveiled the first look of poster of #KanganaRanaut. The poster featured the 'Queen' actress as a young politician and is looking gorgeous. Kangana is sure to score big with the film down South. Vishnu Induri is bankrolling this project.
