Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut's 'Dhaakad' fails at the box office. Only 20 tickets were sold on the eighth day after the release of the film. The movie, which hit theaters on May 20, has so far grossed only Rs 3.35 crore. According to the national media, the film has grossed just Rs 4,420 in the previous day.
'Dhaakad' has been prepared with a budget of Rs 100 crore. Producers are facing huge losses as shows are cancelled due to lack of audience in theaters.
Karthik Aryan starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' is another film that has hit the theaters with Dhaakad. 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' is getting good reviews. The film is approaching the 100 crore club. Newcomer Rasneesh Khai directed the film 'Dhakaad'. The film is a spy thriller. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta and Saswata Chatterjee.
Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivi', which was released before 'Dhaakad', also failed at the box office. The Tamil film was remade in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. The film, which was prepared with a budget over Rs 100 crore, reportedly grossed only Rs 10 crore at the box office.
