Owen Wilson might star in Marvel’s series on Loki

Owen Wilson might star in Marvel’s series on Loki

Owen Wilson is famous for his role in Marley & Me and Midnight in Paris. His other films include The Grand Budapest Hotel, Wedding Crashers, Shanghai Noon, The Interns, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. He is also an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, and will next feature in The French Dispatch.

 
The actor is in talks with the makers of Loki series as he may join Marvel's upcoming series. The Disney+ show has Tom Hiddleston who plays the role of God like his role in the 2011 movie Thor. The Hollywood Reporter shares that the makers are considering Owen for a lead role in the series. But, the exact details remain secret.
 
Loki’s character died in Avengers: Infinity War but brought back through the time-travel storyline. Loki made an appearance in the 2019 release Avengers: Endgame. The plot of the series revolves around the character's revived version. Michael Waldron has taken up the responsibility to write down the story for Loki, and will also be a show creator and executive producer of the series.
 
The show will also feature British actor Sophia Di Martino in a lead role. As per sources at Marvel Studios, Disney+ series will tie-in the launch of the show with supernatural sequel Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Loki series will premiere in 2021.
 
Loki is among the number one shows Marvel Studios is producing for Disney+. The others are Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
