‘Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’, which marks Pa Ranjith’s return to the romance genre after his first movie ‘Attakathi’ which was released in 2012, had its first look poster unveiled on 6th July. The love drama has Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan in lead roles, while Kalaiarasan, Hari Krishnan, Subatra Robert, and Shabeer Kallarakka will be appearing in significant character roles. According to the movie's poster, Dushara Vijayan will be the focus, and the plot will revolve around her.
Through the banners of Neelam Productions and Yaazhi Films, Vignesh Sundaresan, Manoj Leonel Johson, and Ranjith produced the movie. Music is composed by Tenma, and Cinematography is done by A Kishor Kumar, while editing is done by Selva RK. An official release date is yet to be declared for the movie. The film had its shooting completed in December last year and is currently in the post-production stage.
Ranjith, whose final movie was the boxing drama Sarpatta Parambarai, has a tonne of movies in the pipeline. He is working on a film with Vikram (Chiyaan 61), a sequel to Sarapatta Parambarai, an action movie called Vettuvam, and a movie on Birsa Munda. Arya played the lead in "Sarpatta Parambarai," and the film was released last year and earned positive reviews for its direct OTT release.
