Parampara Discusses The Success Of Her Hit Song Maiyya Mainu From 'Jersey': For The First 10 to 15 Days, We Felt Disheartened

Sachet and Parampara currently rule the Indian music industry after providing countless melodic singles in Bollywood. The renowned "Kabir Singh" duet has gained popularity in recent years, adding their calming and soulful voice to some of the biggest successful songs, including "Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas," "Bekhayali," and "Mere Sohneya" by Kabir Singh, "Maiyya Mainu" by Jersey, and many others.

The married musical couple got acquainted on the sets of the music reality series The Voice India, and they are now succeeding in their joint musical endeavors. The duo spoke in an interview about their music, romance, songs, and much more. "We were a little disheartened for the first 10-15 days," Parampara stated in reference to the song Maiyya Mainu's slow success.

She continued, “When a song is released, the musician behind it expects the song to pick up and do well. So, we had slight pressure also that we were doing the album of Jersey and the film was already a blockbuster hit in the South. So, we had this feeling in us that we had to create such music for the film that was just a smash hit. Then the success which Maiyya Mainu saw after 10-15 days of its release, we were just shocked”.

She continued, “There were so many videos that were being made using the song and then we heard about the song from people locally when we met them, or when we went on different shows for performing the song, that’s when we got to know that the song has picked up. And the response was not instant. The song did not pick up as much within 15 days of the release”.
